Missions

Meet our Missionary:

Rev FredrickRev. Fredrick Makka is the Senior Pastor of Walukuba Elim Pentecostal Church in Jinja Uganda Africa.  He is also the current General Secretary of Elim Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Uganda. He is the over seer of the Walukuba Child Development Center, El Shaddai Children Education Trust, Arise and Shine Nursery School and El Shaddai Medical Center.

The Vision: To have a health and committed fellowship of brethren, which is touching and transform Nations for Jesus Christ,

The Mission: To bring people to Christ, develop them to Christ like maturity.  To equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world.  To care for orphans and needy children.  To provide some formal education in order to have a better future.

Location: They are located in Walukuba housing estate which is one of the biggest and oldest housing estates in the country.  The estate accommodates mainly the low income earners of Jinja town.  Most residents are market vendors and casual workers.  Gross unemployment exists to a tune of almost 80%.

Programs:
Walukuba Child Development Center,
sponsor’s 318 needy and orphaned children.

El Shaddai Children Education Trust,
involves assisting 80 orphans and needy children to acquire some formal education in order to have a better future.

Children in AfricaArise and Shine Nursery School,
was established in January 2007 with the aim to provide affordable quality education with a godly emphasis.  There are three groups of children cared for, babies, preschoolers, and elementary.

 

Sick ChildEl Sh addai Medical Center,
the center was started in January 2011. There are two medical personnel at this time to meet the ever increasing need for medical services.

 


You can help us make a difference:
The need is great and continues to grow.  The need to build new buildings and expand existing buildings. To acquire a school van, and the completion of our new sanctuary facility.  The cost for care and education for nursery to elementary children is $250 per year, per student, for high school $375 per year, per student.  You can make a difference by sponsoring one child or making a one time gift.
